Ethnic marketing communications campaign for Vonage
Think global, act local – D’zine activates ethnic marketing communications campaign for Vonage using digital and offline media.
Vonage is a voice telephony company that enables high-quality voice and messaging services across multiple devices and locations over broadband networks. Their award winning technology serves approximately 2.4 million subscribers; providing feature-rich, affordable communication solutions that offer flexibility, portability and ease-of-use. Vonage’s V-Plan 4i offers free unlimited calling to landline and mobiles phones in all cities and locations in India with popular features like call waiting, call forwarding and voicemail – for one low, flat monthly rate. The company was looking at an agency to help them drive up subscriptions.
D’zine was invited to pitch for this specific campaign to provide an integrated advertising solution to help Vonage drive up interest in its telephony products and also increase signups.
The result was an innovative, unique communication strategy targeting Indians living in East London and Leicester. The adverts used strong imagery of specific classical dances of India and headlines transliterated in 4 different Indian languages. Creative designs for billboards, bus stand posters, door drop leaflets, bus side adverts, online banners, radio spots, event handouts, street marketing and email marketing were conceptualised and activated by D’zine to generate huge buzz around the products.
